Bounce Forward in partnership with Healthy Minds — This is psychological fitness
Athlete wellbeing for clubs & grassroots sport

Support for young athletes — and the adults in their corner

Sport can build confidence, identity and belonging. It can also bring intense pressure, injury, rejection, deselection, uncertainty and self-doubt. We help clubs build psychological support for young athletes around performance, pressure and setbacks — both on the field and at home.

Psychological support for young athletes

Two programmes, one joined-up approach: build psychological fitness with young athletes and support young athlete mental health, while equipping the adults around them — so the same supportive language shows up at the club and at home.

Why clubs choose both

The two programmes reinforce each other — strongest when they run side by side.

Stronger player welfare

Support that’s there before a setback turns into a crisis.

Improved engagement and retention

Young people who feel supported are more likely to stay in sport.

A shared language across club and home

Coaches and parents reinforce the same ideas, at the club and at home.

More confident parents & carers

Adults who know how to help — without piling on the pressure.

Evidence-informed and built for real sporting environments. The programme draws on post-traumatic growth, self-efficacy, hope theory, flexible thinking and practical approaches to connection and support.
