Four years of partnership • 2022–2026

Some partnerships fund activity. The best ones create the conditions for growth.

Better prepared for life. Build psychological fitness.

A partnership that became part of our story.

Employees • Schools • Families • Communities • Growth

It started with their people.

Employees nominated the schools and communities they wanted us to reach.

When the partnership began in 2022, Carlsberg Britvic employees were invited to nominate local schools and communities that mattered to them.

Bounce Forward then worked directly with those schools — independently, and without commercial branding in delivery — so support could reach children and communities where it mattered most.

This employee-led approach helped ensure our work was grounded in real local need, with genuine connections to the places where Carlsberg Britvic people live and work.

What those nominations became.

200+ schools nominated
40,000+ children reached each year

Once schools are engaged, the impact does not stop with a single year. Teachers keep using the learning and new cohorts continue to benefit.

The impact does not reset at the end of a funding year.

The relationship did not stop at the school gate.

The people who helped us reach schools also helped us listen to parents through roadshows, site visits, parent courses and shared conversations.

Through roadshows, site visits, parent courses and shared conversations, Carlsberg Britvic employees engaged with Bounce Forward far beyond school nominations.

From roadshows to site visits, parent courses to open conversations, people helped raise awareness, supported the work and deepened our understanding of the families around them.

They asked questions, shared ideas, joined sessions and brought Bounce Forward into their teams and communities.

These conversations gave us valuable insight into the real-life pressures families face — and how we can make our support even more relevant, accessible and impactful.

Roadshows

Bounce Forward met the Carlsberg Britvic workforce to share the work and receive nominations.

Site visits

From warehouse to manufacturing to logistics, people saw the impact firsthand.

Raise Resilience

Employees took part in our foundation parent course to build their own understanding and share with their families.

Shared conversations

Open, honest discussions helped us listen, learn and better support families.

They did not just support the work. They became part of it.

A foundation from which to grow.

Being chosen as a charity partner gave a small charity something precious: room to build.

Carlsberg Britvic’s backing brought stability, belief and practical support. It helped Bounce Forward grow delivery, profile, relationships and confidence to keep moving forward.

The value was bigger than the number. It created confidence, connection and momentum.

Backing that opened doors.

The partnership did more than fund activity. It helped increase profile, credibility and connection.

A growing voice

Helping psychological fitness reach wider audiences.

We are proud to see psychological fitness used more widely. While we cannot claim all the credit, Bounce Forward has been a leading voice in helping shape the language and thinking around how children and adults become better prepared for life.

The relationships keep moving.

One school relationship can grow and expand.

Northampton International Academy is located in the same community as Carlsberg Britvic’s flagship brewery and one of its logistics hubs.

As a lead Bounce Forward school and part of the wider East Midlands Academy Trust, that relationship has meant we are now working with all schools across the trust teaching Bounce Forward lessons from nursery through to sixth form on a project with PGL Beyond, the EMATters Enrichment Project.

Extending reach to involve the whole ecosystem around children across the Trust, including parents and carers.
